21st Avenue Bicycles – Family Fun Bike Build!

21st Avenue Bicycles – Family Fun Bike Build! from James Wilson on Vimeo.

Amanda from 21st Avenue Bicycles (as featured in issue 3 of Boneshaker) sent us a link to thisr latest video…. looks like a properly fun place to work to me:

“Not a promotional video. Just a fun family video to show you what to expect if you spend 3 minutes down at 21st Avenue Bicycles. Besides seeing sweet commuter bikes getting built-up you’ll also get some high-fives and maybe even a sighting of missing brother Atlin. Sweet, full-on promotional styled videos coming soon! Enjoy!”

Have a dig around their Vimeo page and you will find some pretty smooth dance moves too..!

Tate Modern & Tate Britain stock Boneshaker

We are please to announce that both of Tate’s, Modern and Britain, want to sell Boneshaker Magazine in their lovely bookshops. We have long been fans of browsing their vast shops of great magazines, books, prints and much more, so we are really chuffed that they approached us to sell the magazine.

The Selection

Some very kinds words from Bill Strickland on his blog The Selection

When Nathan from Restrap got in touch with us, asking if we would like to try out some of their pedal straps, we jumped at the opportunity!

Restrap is a great little business, started in early 2010 by riders for riders, constantly aiming to provide new and innovative solutions to the cycling market with an emphasis on making great quality products at very good value for money. All of their products are made by hand in the UK and all of the strapping used is made from recycled seatbelts!

Anyway, I finally got round to trying them out yesterday and must admit that they are bloody fantastic! I have been struggling with conventional toe straps on my fixie and these proved very easy to use in comparison. Beautifully made and straightforward to attach to pretty much any type of pedal and at £20 for a pair (inc p&p), these are a bargain. I already have a queue of friends waiting to try them after me!

As well as pedal straps, they also sell lock holsters. Take a look for yourselves here….

Thanks again to Nathan & the Restrap Crew for sending us a pair to test-ride….keep up the great work guys.
